At St. Mary Magdalene we welcome youth in grades 6-12 for worship, and we welcome them to be members of the church. Sharing our worship with youth strengthens all of our relationships with God. We also offer a variety of activities for youth if you so choose.
Sunday Morning Fellowship
The youth ministry program serves youth in grades 6-12 by participating in Sunday morning fellowship.
Adventures and Service Projects
Monthly we have an adventure or participate in service projects in the surrounding community.
Retreats and Mission Trip
The youth also participate in two diocesan retreats called "Quest" and are offered a yearly mission trip experience.
This Week in Youth MinistryAcolyte Training
Calling all Acolytes! Acolytes are essential participants to worship. If you are a currently an acolyte or interested in learning about acolyte please attend a training after church with Fr. Bruce on Sunday, September 17th!
Acolytes are members of the congregation who assist the priest with worship. Any children who are eight years or older are eligible to become acolytes. We believe this ministry strengthens their understanding of worship and helps them become active members of the congregation. The priest will see that they receive proper instruction and are placed on a rotating list to serve.
Barb Beaton could use help during the summer with the garden. Please email her if you would like to help her in this ministry.
