Common Cathedral is a weekly worship service outdoors at Collyer Park in Longmont, open to all, but aimed especially at those who call the street their home. SMM volunteers provide and serve a hot meal every month.
We have a community garden on our property where we grow vegetables to donate to local food pantries. Each year we donate hundreds of pounds of organic vegetables to needy families.
SMM parishioners give a significant amount of their time and talent to outreach. Some of these projects include Habitat for Humanity, Community Food Share, and CROP Hunger Walk.
The Colorado Haiti Project partners with rural Haitian communities to support their rise out of extreme poverty. Each year SMM has projects such as the "Konbit Scholarship World Food Tour" fundraiser to support the Colorado Haiti Project.
