Centering Prayer is available in the church library every Tuesday from 9:15 to 10:15 am.  It is a time of quiet centering prayer (for two 20-minute “sits”) followed by readings and contemplative dialogue. Our current book is Discernment: Reading the Signs of Daily Life by Henri Nouwen. Amazon >

Centering Prayer is a method of prayer that involves silence for 20 minutes as participants “sit” with God.  Although it involves silence, it is an active, intentional mode of being with God.  This method of prayer is drawn from ancient prayer practices of the Christian contemplative heritage, notably the Fathers and Mothers of the desert.

All are welcome.  Contact: Barb Beaton
