Congratulations to the 2018 Youth Confirmands from St. Mary Magdalene Mitchell A., Joe C., and Marie C.  We welcome you to the Episcopal Church!
Border Immersion Trip to Nogales
Please join us on Sunday, June 10th, after the 9:00am service for a brief presentation on the Nogales Mission Trip. We will show pictures and share stories from last year’s trip there. The trip this year will be from July 30th – August 4th. We will be staying at HEPAC (Home of Hope and Peace) again on the Mexican side of the border while making several different day trips throughout the week. One of these trips will be to a sister Episcopal church in Arizona during their monthly medical clinic for children from the Mexican side of Nogales. The trip is open to anyone 13 and older with spots being prioritized for the youths. Adults are still welcome, and we hope to see you there! The registration deadline is June 30th. For more information, please contact Fr Bruce or Meg Thornbury.
Second Sunday Women’s Gathering
Sunday June 10th, 10:30am in the library.  Yes – we are still meeting throughout the summer!  This month we will talk about the spirituality inherent in the summer solstice and the ways this season of fire and light may be rising up within each of us. Please add the gift of your bright consciousness to our discussion!   Contact Courtney Gambrell.
Celebrate Summer Solstice with St. Brigit’s

In keeping with the Celtic tradition of honoring the earth as God’s creation, St. Brigit will mark the Summer Solstice, the longest day of the year, as a celebration of God’s gift of light.  The Solstice Service is unique among the Áit Caol services in that all the meditation areas will be outdoors on the church grounds, including one utilizing St. Brigit’s outdoor labyrinth.  St. Brigit’s youth group, the Lightsiderz, will be assisting in creating the meditation areas.  Older children are welcome at the service.  Childcare will be provided for children under age six.  Read more >

Buy Grocery Cards to Support St. Mary Magdalene

Did you know that you can support the ministry of St. Mary Magdalene by purchasing reloadable cards for stores such as King Sooper’s?  SMM will receive 5% cash back for all purchases made on these cards.  For example, in the first quarter of 2018 the church received $1,346.57 in proceeds from card use.  It is an easy and fantastic way to support our church community.  Contact Colleen Brolin to purchase cards or to learn more.
