Looking Forward to Easter by Fr. Bruce Swinehart
I hope that you are enjoying the poignant blessings of Holy Week. I am looking forward to journeying with you through the ancient “Triduum” of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Vigil services, on into our celebration of the Feast of the Resurrection on Sunday morning.  There is a deep and resonant power to these services that transports us right into the heart of the mystery of God’s work in Jesus Christ.

Easter Sunday Coffee Hour | April 16
It is a St. Mary Magdalene tradition to welcome parishioners and guests with a special coffee hour on Easter morning. Please help us celebrate by bringing goodies to share – pastries, fruit, or cheese and crackers. Contact Sue Ellis.

7 Spots Remain for the Habitat for Humanity Build Day!!! | April 29
Please join us for Saint Mary Magdalene’s build day with Habitat for Humanity of the St. Vrain Valley. 7 spots are still available.. There is work for everyone age 16 and older utilizing a variety of skill sets. Lunch is being provided by Heart of Longmont Methodist Church. The deadline to sign up is April 25. Faith Climate Action Week | April 17-23
Faith Climate Action Week will encompass seven days in April surrounding Earth Day. The theme is “Act on Climate” and will focus on how we can take action to protect our climate laws, and encourage our senators to share their climate action plans.  Read more >

Children & Youth Advisory Meeting | April 25, 2017 at 7:00pm
We will meet for our first Children and Youth Advisory meeting to reengage our vision.  For more information or if you would like to join us contact Sue Crowley.

Outreach Meeting | May 8 at 7:00pm
Outreach meetings are open to all who attend St. Mary Magdalene.  Each person who attends the meetings has a voice and vote in projects funded by the Outreach ministry. Please join us as you are able.  Contact Mark Christie for more information.

Mission Opportunity to Nogales, Arizona | June 12-17, 2017
The mission/exploration trip to Nogales, Mexico has one (possibly two) spots open. Please contact Leslie Harvison if you would like to be added to the trip or waiting list. This can be done with an email or text or phone call to Leslie. Please make out checks to SMM for $327 and put “Nogales trip” in the memo line.
