Obedience and Listening by Courtney Gambrell
Listening well – both to God and to the people around us – seems to require an obedience of surrender and commitment.  We surrender our full attention to another, providing time, space and presence for true listening to occur.  We make a faithful commitment to hold presence for the story of another, or for God’s message to settle deeply into our lives. Bishop’s Visitation and Celebration of New Ministry
Once every two or three years the Bishop makes a visit to St. Mary Magdalene, and his next visit will be Sunday, March 26th. There will be only one service that day at 10:00am.

Bishop O’Neill’s visit will be an especially festive occasion this year, as he will formally induct Fr. Bruce as our Priest-in-Charge.  After the 10:00am service, we will celebrate with a potluck brunch and have a chance to talk informally with the Bishop. If you can help provide food for the brunch, please sign up here.

We hope you can join us!

Sarah Jane Delaney, Sr. Warden
